Western blots

Western blots using monoclonal antibodies to A/ EBV anti-gp110; B/ EBV anti-EA-D; C/ EBV anti-EA-R (ribonucleotide reductase).

Cell extracts were taken at 32, 40 and 48 hours after induction with TPA/Na-butyrate. Cells were resuspended in SDS sample buffer and proteins were separated on a 8% polyacryl amide gel.

Molecular weights: gp110 = 110kDa ;

EA-D= 47- 56kDa

EA-R= 85-89kDa

Western blot using monoclonal antibody to EBNA-1. Lane with the arrow is EBV genome negative Ramos cell line. The other lanes are cell lines with various sizes of EBNA-1 (size between 65-90kDa). Cells were resuspended in SDS sample buffer and proteins were separated on a 8% polyacryl amide gel. Each lane contains 2x104 cells.
