Quite unique tissue staining. At the present it is difficult to confirm with tissues from other autopsy material. The patient with MS (multiple sclerosis) died in a accident under an active MS period. The sections of the brain tissue was stained for various herpesvirus antigens. This pictures shows cells which are expressing HHV-6 early antigens as detected by monoclonal antibody against one of the viral early proteins. No antigens associated with other herpesviruses were detected in the tissue.
